I had just finished a months long project, and wanted to code something fun. So I thought, why not a perfume-themed word game?
Stinkle is a word guessing game where each day there is a new secret perfume-themed word, and you have six guesses to work out what it is. It could be the name of a perfume, like ENJOLI, a brand, such as PARLUX, an ingredient, like AMBROX, or something else scent realted like SILLAGE.
With each guess of the word, you will be told whether you have any of the letters correct. If they are in the word, they will be marked pink. If they are in the word and in the correct place, they will be marked blue.
If you’ve ever played hangman or Mastermind, or a certain other unnamed word game, I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it.
A new Stinkle puzzle will be published between midnight and 1am UK time. It is currently in beta, so there may be bugs and hiccups!
